It's going to be a long, long summer without you dt.

Anyway here is the greatest moment in El Salvador's football history surely. Apparently the ref let play continue after blowing for a foul. Or something like that. Don't believe it was anything to do with offside at all. Deserves a podcast all to itself. I would particularly like to know who the little blonde kid cheering on Mexico so enthusiastically is. What a cheeky grin he has. And why is he sitting on the steps and not the seats ?

Mexico was more convincing in the second leg, no?

I second blackcomyn's thoughts about the podcast. I was very much looking forward to your analysis of not only CONCACAF eliminatorias but also the European Cup.

Best of luck to El Salvador in the next round of matches.

Mexico were indeed more convincing, thanks for those thoughts, Anon...

Juventud Independiente will be playing top flight footy next season, as they beat San Salvador 3-1.It seems likely that the panteras will now fold.

I think, Anon, you are referring to the European Championships, very exciting tournament and I ask again, what has "Big" Phil Scolari actually done with incredible set of Portuguese players?

Well done Spain, and not sure if it was generally noted what a great goal it was to decide the final. It was a great goal.

Oh and if anyone can find an interview with Raul about Spain`s victory I would LOVE to see it, ha ha ha ha ...
