My nomination for greatest CONCACAF player of all time: Hugo Sanchez Marquez (humility be damned). The Cadiz story makes a very good case for Magico, admittedly.

The Olympics are a bullshit tournament, even before considering the England/Wales issue. The first step the IOC can make toward legitimacy is to make the Olympics a U-23 tournament. No exceptions.

My predictions:
Alianza 2-1 San Salvador
Chivas 3-0 America
Cruz Azul 1-1 Pumas
Ipswich 0-2 Norwich

I've been away and am sorry to miss a good game of Pediction. At least America lost.

As for best ever CONCACAF player, it's a bit tricky when I have seen so litle. But a word for the mighty Dwight Yorke, even Frank Sinatra sang about him "It's up to you...."

Also this bloke must rank a mention

A good shout out for Hugol too.

Thanks for that Anon and BC, good stuff.

The final scores were:-
Alianza 3 - 1 San Sal
Chivas 3 - 2 America
Cruz Azul 2 - 1 Pumas
scum 2 - 1 Norwich

so i make it that anon and i both have two points, but anon sneaks it for spotting three goals for Chivas.

I agree, Dwight Yorke - so good they named him ... er ... once ...
