Come on dt, you know it couldn't have been me that predicted a 4-0 win for Scotland. I am the worlds second biggest pessimist.

Thanks for the clips of Higuita. All good fun.

As for Blatter, he is not all bad. He has the best interests of the game at heart I feel and has continued to look favourably on the "home" nations having their seperate national teams. This situation may become seriously questioned in the future when the next charlatan takes his place.

But I haven't read the book...

Congratulations on the mention during the Guardian Weekly Extra podcast. I believe in all sincerity that the Guardian commentators had never heard of the Interliga prior to finding your post. In one simple motion, you've entered the global football dialogue.
