Hi BC, thanks for that.

Sadly the cold light of day tells me that El Salvador will not make it, and will probably finish 6th.

As for Mexico I have not see enough of them to say anything other than the obvious "Sven" as an answer. They got 9 points from 9 at home and 1 point from 9 away.

Sven needs to get them playing a less complicated game, and give them the confidence to play - like Fabio Capello has in England.

Clearly Sven was not the right appointment, but you can't blame him for that.

Don't listen to the rubbish from the USA about Mexico not having the players. they do (man for man way ahead of the USA for example), so there must be something in the organisation and/or management.

It's in their heads, I fear.

I believe your fears are correct, DT, and Mexico's problems are in our heads, which unfortunately, makes them all the more frustrating. I think you are right as well, that there is something (most likely many things) wrong with the way the FMF go about the business of the Seleccion.

Very glad to hear that the eliminatorias can continue without the threat of war.
